Arrive in Edinburgh and settle into your city centre hotel, ideally located in the heart of the Old Town. You'll have free time to explore one of Europe's most vibrant cities at your leisure — whether strolling the historic Royal Mile or relaxing in a local café, the energy of Scotland's capital is sure to enchant. If you'd prefer a smooth arrival from the airport, we can arrange a private chauffeur to meet you. Alternatively, you can take a tram, bus, or taxi to your hotel. If you arrive early, you're welcome to deposit your luggage and explore the city at your leisure.

We depart Edinburgh and cross into the Kingdom of Fife, passing the magnificent Forth Bridge — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We take a scenic walk through Scotland's 'big tree' country to a stunning waterfall, before a lunch stop in the pretty Victorian town of Pitlochry (not included), where you'll find a great choice of cafés, restaurants, and pubs. On through the Cairngorms National Park, where the scenery changes dramatically. Next, the awe-inspiring Clava Cairns — tombs and standing stones erected some 4,500 years ago. Our final stop is one of Scotland's most sacred places: the Battlefield of Culloden Moor (1746), whose outcome was felt worldwide. This evening we enjoy a group dinner at MacGregor's Gastro pub, with live Scottish music setting the perfect Highland mood (drinks not included).

We travel the full length of Loch Ness, stopping at the Loch Ness Visitor Centre and the dramatic ruins of Urquhart Castle, where we enjoy a cruise on the Loch. After a scenic waterfall walk at Invermoriston, we break for lunch at the Clunie Inn (not included). We then stop for a Hot Chocolate at Chocolates of Glenshiel before boarding the historic Glenelg Ferry — 'Over the Sea to Skye.' We cross the Skye Bridge and head south to Plockton, the 'Jewel of the Highlands,' where we stay for 3 nights.

Cross the sea to the Isle of Skye, where you'll discover an embarrassment of riches. Our first stop is Sligachan, where, legend has it, if you wash your face in the flowing waters, you will never age. On to the beautiful capital of Skye with it's multi coloured harbour and quaint shops…time for a wander! Now to the Trotternish Peninsula, which arguably holds Skye's most dramatic scenery, from the striking Quiraing to the Old Man of Storr, the island offers an abundance of natural beauty and historical intrigue. Dinner will be served at the Plockton Inn, and you'll rest again in this beautiful village.

Today we explore Southern Skye. We board the Misty Isle boat for a crossing to the remote Loch Coruisk, deep in the heart of the Cuillin mountains — keep your eyes open for dolphins and basking sharks along the way. We then take a walk through true wilderness before heading to Eilean Donan Castle in the afternoon, one of Scotland's most iconic and photographed landmarks.

Leaving Skye behind, we take the ferry to Mallaig and continue through the Silver Sands of Morar, where flawless white beaches look out over the Small Isles. The day also includes a visit to the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct — the 'Hogwarts Express' bridge from the Harry Potter films — before we travel through stunning Glencoe, a land forged through fire and ice. We then follow the Appin coastline for a stop at Castle Stalker, the four-storey tower house that appeared in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, before arriving in Oban, gateway to the Isles and seafood capital of Scotland.

We begin by climbing McCaig's Tower for panoramic views over Oban and the Inner Hebrides. Our first stop is the hidden gem of St. Conan's Kirk — Scotland's mini Notre Dame. A low-level walk brings us to the brooding Kilchurn Castle, with another chance to meet the Highland Cows. We continue to the beautiful village of Killin and the spectacular Falls o' Dochart. Lunch here is not included — choose between a Salmon smokery or an 18th-century tavern. We then head to Callander for an early check-in so you have time to explore the town.

We start with a visit to Doune Castle, famous for its appearances in Outlander, Game of Thrones, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. From there, we head to Aberfoyle for a spectacular sheepdog show before driving the scenic Dukes Pass through the Trossachs. We stop to feed the adorable Hairy Highland Cows, then take a cruise on Loch Katrine. The afternoon is free time in Callander before we gather for our farewell dinner together — a fitting end to an unforgettable Highland adventure.

We begin our journey back to Edinburgh with a visit to Stirling Castle, "He who holds Stirling, holds Scotland." The tour continues with a stop at the magnificent Kelpies, giant steel horse sculptures symbolizing Scotland's industrial strength. If time allows, we'll also visit the medieval town of Culross before arriving in Edinburgh, mid-late afternoon at either your city center hotel or the airport.
